My only experience with a VAX was that I used to walk past one running in a hotel front office in the early 1980s. This cannot stand!!! LOL
I am very interested in computing as a hobby and as a tool in my business and have always had special interest in older technologies. Especially those older technologies that endure.
I currently am on a personal exploration of Unix systems and similar systems and am planning on setting up a system running Linux, Simh and VAX/VMS on a Raspberry Pi. This is going to be somewhat challenging for me since my background is in audio visual but I'm looking forward to the task.
