I'm Tom Pfau. I worked for DEC from '81 to '93 in the Parsippany and Piscataway offices in New Jersey. I have been running VMS at home for a couple of years using SIMH and have recently acquired an Alphastation 200 4/233 which I'll be loading VMS onto as soon as my hobbyist kit arrives. |

My Alphastation 200 recently died. I was able to get a PWS 600au off ebay pretty cheap so as soon as my SCSI cable adapters arrive I should have my system back up. In the mean time, I'm building a temporary OpenVMS installation on the 600au. This thing is a lot faster than the 200! |

I wrote and maintain a few perl modules for VMS. I also have some open source stuff that I've written that I try to make sure works on VMS. I have VMS documentation and copies of the freeware discs online so I can access them from work (I program on VMS at my jo. |
