It appears that BLISS' PAK is not available on the freeware v8 CDROM - but is indeed available in the previous versions of the CDROM.

I have to agree with jordanec as the generally accepted method of determining bitness is size of general registers not address limitations.

BLISS is available on the Freeware distributions, including License PAK.

"The KA10 had a maximum main memory capacity (both virtual and physical) of 256 kilowords" which is 18bits of addressing. It did have a 36bit word, though.

Is Bliss-32 for the VAX/VMS also available under the Hobbyist license PAKs? The compiler is freeware but where is the license?
