I'm still a new to this OpenVMS so ...
I have the CD Media Kit from Montour that I asked/paid for. How can I see what products are on the CD?
I have a vax instance running using simh and i followed the instructions from http://www.wherry.com/gadgets/retrocomputing/vax-simh.html, added a user (me), and installed tcpip. All that works, i can telnet in from other machines, and do some basic programming in BASIC, Pascal, and C. So, how can restore a backup set from the CD if i don't know the name of it? BASIC was in "BASIC039 DUA3:[BASIC039.KIT]" how can i get the names of the other sets on DUA3: ?
malmberg December 12 2017 HPE only makes the most current version of OpenVMS Alpha / IA64 /VAX available to hobbyists. When I had access to the Alliance 1 program it was the same. No public downloads are allowed by HPE.
