Hi Guys (and maybe, just possibly Galls :wink my name is Edward and I live in Lincoln, England. I work as a network technician with Cisco routers and switches and Checkpoint Firewalls.
In my spare time I like to program and play with alternative computers and platforms (everything from SkyOS, BeOS/Zeta and AmigaOS to Irix and Solaris) and some time ago came across an AlphaStation 200 4/166 that the local RAF base were throwing out.
Thanks to the OpenVMS Hobbyist program I now have the necessary licenses and once I get this machine running want to add at least one more as a cluster so will probably be asking hundreds of questions.
Once it is up and running I intend to make use of VMS's unique file system for a little project I have but more on that once I have this thing working
