My name is Mateusz and I am a long time Linux user and a professional Smalltalk/Ruby/Java programmer and a hobbyist admin. Some time ago I've discovered VMS, but I've never had enough time to study it thoroughly. Now is the perfect moment! Currently I use polarhome and today I managed to install OpenVMS for the first time in my life on emuvm. It's a pity I couldn't do it on qemu. Do you know any good open source emulators (emuvm is closed)? Today I've also discovered DECUServe and applied for the hobbyist license. It was an interesting day indeed. :-D
I couldn't use my mail to register on this forum, because it is a registered for an inactive account (probably my account from the past). What's the solution?
