I worked with VMS systems for the University of Nottingham back in the 1980s (when I was young and foolish) starting with a VAX11/780 and progressing through various VAX & Alpha machines until it was all Unix and PCs.
Now that I'm old and foolish, I have got a VMS system running on a tiny Raspberry Pi, simulating a VAX with the Simh package. I've got DEC's TCP/IP package running and a Multinet Hobbyist licence and distribution kit. I am having difficulty getting Multinet configured.
I'm also completely confused by the plethora of sites that claim to have free software for VMS but end up with "File not found".
