I re-registered for Openvms VAX/Alpha license paks about 10 days ago, no response after 5 or 6 days, so resubmitted on HPE site and the CCScorp site, still nothing. Does anyone know if the hobbyist program is still active?
Recent reports on comp.os.vms indicate that it is alive.
Reports are also that if the "optional" entry for the purpose of the license is not filled out, that the hobby license request is not processed.
Other reports are that sometimes requests do not get processed until they are repeated.
Keep in mind that requests are processed in India during their normal business hours, so may be delayed because of their national holidays. It also appears to only be one person responding, so their may be delays if they are on vacation.
