A nice little hobbyist machine - PWS500au with:
- 3x 9GB discs as JBODs off a 3 channel SWXCR (+ a spare SWXCR)
- extra 10/100 ethenet
- 2x ELSA Gloria Synergy (runs dual monitor with the Xinerama extension for DECwindows/Motif)
- around 500MB memory (made up of 3 pairs of DIMMs of varying sizes)
- TDK CD/DVD burner (works with VMS copy/record)
There's some DS10 / DS10L memory (512MB made up of 2x 256MB options = 4 x 128MB DIMMs in total.
There might be some other stuff (plastic brick style discs, mostly 18GB and 36GB, BA356 storage shelf, etc.) as well, depends what I have left from a big clear-out.
Best collected. I don't want (or have time for) the hassle of arranging shipping.

malmberg December 12 2017 HPE only makes the most current version of OpenVMS Alpha / IA64 /VAX available to hobbyists. When I had access to the Alliance 1 program it was the same. No public downloads are allowed by HPE.

malmberg September 10 2017 https://sourceforge.net/p /vms-ports/wiki/VMSInstal lation/ For the most part just use VMS 6.1 media instead of 7.3. But why run the older release?
DoeveR August 07 2017 Where can I find the write up on running VMS 6.1 using the simh emulator?
