My AS2100 keeps asking for the date to be set manually when VMS starts up. I saw you'd asked for this ecu disk on the HP forums too and have had a reply.
I followed the instructions on there and booted the ecu 1.11 from within my smc console using 'runecu' and saw options for changing the time etc.
But for me, no joy, the date was remembered for only a brief time after reboot - the next time VMS asked for the date again at bootup. I'm concluding that my DALLAS chip is toast and needs replacing (with the coin cell hack).
