My first post. I've been searching some time now for a 10Base2 to 10BaseT media converter to attach a VAXstation VLC on thinnet to my home network. I had thought of building a MAU device using a BNC NIC and UTP NIC and bridging the cards using pfsense (or even Windows). However, the BNC NICs I have lying around are ISA cards and none of my motherboards have ISA slots. Seems thinnet to UTP transceivers and ISA motherboards are now a rare commodity. Does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed?
Edit: Just found a source for AUI to UTP which will do as well at a reasonable price https://www.ebay.com/itm/171541887846. Still interested in alternative suggestions forum members may have
