I went live this month with a VAX system running version 6.2. It was a server formerly used to power West Virginia Net (VWNet) in the mid 90's up to about 1996. I reset the SYSTEM password and assigned the server to vax4000.vintagecomputer.net. So far I have telnet running and I can access remotely. I can also send/receive email.
I would like to put up a simple web page on this site, set up simple services to go along with vintagecomputer.net.
So...I am presently studying how to be a system admin. I have not used VAX OS since 1995. Glad to see there is still a community going.
