Surely a Made in Nashua version is best for old Hardware? When did the bloat begin?

VMS 6.2 likely fits the bill as long as you don't care about web enabled features. |

So far there are no versions of VAX/VMS that were not made primarily in Nashua.
I have had no problems running VAX/VMS 7.3 on MicroVAX II systems. Have been meaning to try to see if a MicroVAX I will boot it. |

Thanks for the 6.2 recommendation. Do licence PAKS work with all versions?
Daniel. |

As far as I know the Hobby license PAKs work with all versions of VMS that take license keys.
I do not know if any one has tried the early V5.x releases. |

There is a TK50 of VMS 6 on ebay. What do I loose in V6 vs V6.2?
Daniel. |

All the bug fixes. TK50 drives are also a bit unreliable. |
